The main material is a cordovan tanned with vegetable tannins in a tanner with only a few cordovans in Japan, and finished with a dye. By using only the dye, the leather surface is made transparent, and it gives a clean, high-quality leather finish with a noticeable silver pattern that symbolizes leather.
